('Hand on the Pump' by Cypress Hill)

As Tzadkiel finally reaches the suburban gate, Formalda's 'tactical squad' frozen in time, some with a bullet passing through their head, others just beginning to notice with a splash of  coffee, muzzle flares in the surrounding window blinds.

Past the houses with binoculars on comms watching, grim faced and determined through his clear exhaustion.  But mostly as usual, simply annoyed.

~ In the tower motion begins gradually.  In the house the slowly begins bullet picking up speed, behind Tzadkiel the bodies begin to fly ...

The bullet to speed hits a mattress protecting the wall.  Mary snaps the gun down and punches her in the jaw.  She looks back pissed.

Tzadkiel - In both places, "Stop."

...

Tzadkiel (in the tower) - "We came to talk."

Formalda - (Gabrielle's voice) "I won't let you stop me."

Micheal - (in the tower) "Stop what ?  Anael ... what the fuck."

Anael - "Shhh ... Micheal.  For once in your God forsaken life.  Shut the fuck up."

...

Michael - "fuck you"

Tzadkiel - "And who and or what power do you believe you represent ?"

Formalda - "Who the fuck do you think has been holding this world together.  While your ... 'Daddy's' gone AWOL ?"

Mary - "Gross.  She's Illuminati."

________________

Gabrielle - "She doesn't know what I'm doing.  They don't even know what they're doing.  Everyone always thinks it's their plan but it's not and it never was.  It all comes to this.  Whether you or they know it or not, so it must be.  Do not fight me."

Micheal - "But all those men ..."

Anael - "Who you were about to kill."

Gabrielle - "I was never not with you.  That man needed to die and not because you needed the money.  Never not your hand, Michael, as for which I was created.  Still.  If you fight me now it will be your suicide, by your own hand, meAll of you.  He's coming backOne way or the other.  Now go outside."

The last two words echoing as a bell, forcing them through the churning wall, the city gearing all around them, the cracks greater and greater all around with it, pits ravaging throughout.

Tzadkiel - (To Formalda) "Why.  Speak child, or forever you know the drill."

Formalda - "Because you're an edifice.  Just another reminder of a world that's betrayed us all.  A belief that 'some god' is going to come back and make everything you've done alright.  And her."  Looks to Mary, "If she knew what she will beget."

The world shakes as the pits reach the burbs.

Mary - "I'd fuck him twice.  What does your kind know about love."

Formalda stares in disgust and checks her comm.

Tzadkiel - "They're dead."

Formalda - "They were good men."

Tzadkiel - "They were not."

Formalda - "Do you know that ?"

Tzadkiel - "I do."

Formalda - "Well I didn't pick 'em.  Can I go now ?  Can't help noticing I'm still alive."

Tzadkiel - "Not nearly so lost as a fool."

Mary - "Tell your boys we're settling that angel.  One way or another.  And then ?  We do not give one single fuck about you, them, or any of your 'plans' so long as you don't make us.  We've been watching you, and we always will be."

...

Formalda - "Leave any cars intact ?"

Tzadkiel - "Try walking.  Good for the soul."
____________

All at the base of the tower again ...

Anael - (startling them) "Can't help noticing you coming to talk like I asked you to means trying to shoot me."

Michael - "Only because we thought you were dead."

Tzadkiel - "Your game to get us here."

Sachiel - "You've betrayed us."

Anael - "Like you betrayed Him ?"  ...  He spits.  "She's right.  These things going on ... "  The world around them cracking apart as she shrieks the churning from within the tower, " ... it has to be."

Samael - "Bullshit."

Raphael - "I can see where this is going now, just as I never did see you die."

Anael - "Sun's coming up.  Let's take a walk."
